About this Course

2-Week Camp! If you find drawing to be an adventure with both carefully thought-out plans and unexpected surprises, then this camp is for you! Expand your drawing toolbox, through an exploration of fundamentals as well as fun games and themes to inspire new ideas. Bring ideas to life through drawing, and you will find that this reaches many areas of life beyond summer camp. Your camp counselor is Adam Kenney, who teaches oil painting, color, and two-dimensional art and design at Seattle Pacific University. He has a real knack for turning simple lines and shapes into very recognizable places and feelings – and he will show you how to do it too! Happy Time summer camps are two weeks long, with a half day morning camp, and a half day afternoon camp. We believe this amount of time is necessary to generate meaningful relationship building opportunities as well as lasting artistic skills. Campers can sign up for a half day or a whole day experience, including a lunch hour, depending on how much creative immersion they’re looking for! Summer Camp Refund Policy: • $40 Deposit is Non-Refundable. • A 50% refund is granted if requested within two weeks of the first day of camp. (Excluding the non-refundable $40 deposit.) • No refunds or credits will be granted on or after the first day of camp.
