About this Course

This full-day camp focuses on engineering in the morning and American geography and culture in the afternoon - all with LEGO® bricks! MORNING Foundational Engineering: Do you love to tinker and create new things, or are you the kind of learner who likes to break things apart to see what’s inside? If so, you're going to love Snapology’s Foundational Engineering: Machines and Contraptions program! This program gives you the tools you need to understand mechanical movement and the importance of simple machines. Follow instructions to build various machines and contraptions like windmills, go-karts, cars, conveyor belts and more! Develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and play games with your fellow campers. Whether you are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark your engineering interests! AFTERNOON Bricks Across America: Let’s travel across the map together! Work together to learn fun facts about each US state & territory and build an important item from each state’s identity out of LEGO® bricks. Have a blast learning about culture & geography while expressing your creativity through building! Camp Refund Policy: • $40 Deposit is Non-Refundable. • A 50% refund is granted if requested within two weeks of the first day of camp. (Excluding the non-refundable $40 deposit.) • No refunds or credits will be granted on or after the first day of camp.
