About this Course

Explore the world of painting in a summer camp full of games and self-discovery! Using mostly acrylic paints, learn about ways to use brushes and other tools, how to choose and mix colors, use simple lines and shapes, practice perspective, and more. Painting skills are a creative supercharger that you will carry with you for life! Make some art friends, discover new sources of inspiration, and don’t be afraid to get messy. Your camp counselor is William Cook, who knows first-hand how impactful it can be to discover your inner artist. His welcoming and goofy approach makes every artistic concept approachable and easy to grasp. Everyone will find something about painting to love. Happy Time summer camps are two weeks long, with a half day morning camp, and a half day afternoon camp. We believe this amount of time is necessary to generate meaningful relationship building opportunities as well as lasting artistic skills. Campers can sign up for a half day or a whole day experience, including a lunch hour, depending on how much creative immersion they’re looking for! Summer Camp Refund Policy: • $40 Deposit is Non-Refundable. • A 50% refund is granted if requested within two weeks of the first day of camp. (Excluding the non-refundable $40 deposit.) • No refunds or credits will be granted on or after the first day of camp.
