About this Course

National Council on Aging (NCOA) created Aging Mastery as a guide to building a playbook for aging well and making the most of the gift of longer life. Aging Mastery Program provides a comprehensive and fun approach to positive aging by focusing on key aspects of health, finances, relationships, personal growth, and community involvement. Central to the Aging Mastery philosophy is the belief that modest lifestyle changes can produce big results. Mastery comes from turning these lifestyle changes into habits that lead to improved health, stronger economic security, enhanced well-being, and increased societal participation. Testimonials from previous Aging Mastery Program series. “I thoroughly enjoyed and learned from this course. It exceeded my expectations. I wish I had access to it in my 40s when aging began, to be able to plan better…I think this informative, life changing/planning course should be made available to all, even those who are in the prime time of life.” - Shashi K. “AMP changed my mindset from ‘Now I am old’ to ‘Stop wasting time; make your extra years wonderful!’” – JoAnn T. “It helped to remember writing down goals and achieving them – great feeling!” (and/or) “All the speakers were well chosen. The subject matter will be important in decision-making.” – Greta H.
